Invoice Gates Sr., father of Microsoft co-founder, dies at 94
SEATTLE (AP) – William H. Gates II, a lawyer and philanthropist greatest referred to as the daddy of Microsoft co-founder Invoice Gates, has died at 94.
Gates died peacefully Monday at his seashore house in Washington state from Alzheimer’s illness, the household introduced Tuesday.
In an obituary the household credited the patriarch with a “deep dedication to social and financial fairness,” noting that he was liable for the Invoice & Melinda Gates Basis’s first efforts to enhance international well being in addition to his advocacy for progressive taxation, particularly unsuccessful efforts to go a state revenue tax on the rich in Washington.
