Brian Kilmeade and Steve Doocy, two of the hosts of President Trump’s favourite morning present “FOX & Associates,” disagreed Wednesday morning about some Republicans drawing equivalencies between the pro-Trump riot final week on Capitol Hill and the year-long wave of unrest from left-wing and anarchist teams in cities like Portland and Seattle.
“Brian, you are speaking about individuals who work within the Congress,” Doocy informed Kilmeade. “The Congress was underneath assault final week. It was looted. There was a riot.”
Kilmeade replied: “So was Portland each day, and no one cared on the left! These individuals have lives, too. Simply because they do not have medallions to undergo steel detectors each day. All of the statehouses and the police homes that have been ransacked and no one cared.”
“Brian, Brian,” Steve mentioned. “I do not assume what they have been doing in Portland was attempting to overthrow the democracy.”
